I can own up to having had a few lost weekends in the 70’s but I remember the 80’s clearly and distinctively – far too well for me to every think of them as “retro”. As for the Killers, thanks, but no thanks, I’d rather curl up in the corner with The Clash calling.

Honestly Kate with the exception of the rural/urban setting on more than one occasion I’ve felt we’re living the same life.
My son recently made off with my Doors cd. Fair enough. Years ago I made off with his older brother’s Nirvana Unplugged.
Each generation does needs something to claim as their very own. I say let them have rap …but then Shaggy is kind of appealing. Oh never mind.
Like the boys say “It’s all good.”
