Time for Israelis to share a little of that progressive Joy
For a long time I have been weighing the pros and cons of the Israelis ceding the daily newspaper Ha’aretz and its editors to the Syrians in a bid for peace. I am not sure what all the long term repercussions or ramifications are – if the Israelis ceded Ha’aretz to the Syrians but I am willing to give it a try. Let the Syrians deal with Ha’aretz and its editors for a change – and as a sign of innate Israeli goodwill – the Israelis can throw in Gideon Levy with the Ha’aretz deal. Its a twofer!
