British blowhard given Egyptian boot
Well, well. Looks like British MP George Galloway get shown the Egyptian boot. BBC:
A spokeswoman for the convoy said police intervened when Mr Galloway and colleague Ron McKay arrived at the crossing. “As soon as they emerged on to Egyptian soil, both men were forcibly pushed into a van, refused exit and told that they were leaving the country. They were then driven off in a police convoy.” She said Mr Galloway had been put on a plane bound for London.
Really, it couldn’t happen to a more deserving blowhard. I suspect the riot which Galloway’s group actively participated in on the Egyptian side of the Gaza Strip border was the straw which broken the Egyptian camel’s back. But at the rate he’s wearing out his welcome – how long before he’s not welcome anywhere out side of Iran?
