I really don't know much about him, interesting about the Cdn Urban Institute. All I really know for sure is - the Liberal provincial record is disgraceful, and he didn't offer any viable provincial solutions but promised more of the same old, same old.

I ran into Cathy Crowe today at the subway handing out flyers and the thing is, win or lose, come Feb 4th, I know on Feb 5th she will return to work to fight to improve the lives of those who live in this community....just like she's already done for umpteen years already.

Problem is that Glen has never actually done anything.
Check out the Cdn Urban Institute Website- it hasnt been updated since he was hired. No newsletters, no reports to council, nothing.
He has collected $$ for 2 years and only passed out awards, and then he quit. Like he did when he was Mayor of Winnipeg. He never actually accomplished anything - he just made announcements. And David Miller already took the credit for getting a penny from the GST.
He's lazy and quits early and is never held to account. I'm a liberal and I dotn care if hes gay - I care that hes lazy and doesnt do anything and will only brong the party down.

Fenris, you forget yourself. I already do wholeheartedly embrace and endorse one of the considerably older pre-christian religions. Although, I am not sure one would ever describe my religious beliefs as 'politically correct'...I think that moniker is reserved for Christians of the United Church of Canada kind of persuasion.

You should embrace one of the older, pre-Christian religions. In addition to being politically correct, you can also turn this sort of alcoholism inducing experience into a 'mentioned in dispatches' note in the book of life.

To struggle is to share fully with Sol Invictis, the original god celebrated with Holiday. The Unconquerable Sun (tastefully featuring snake worship and roots in happy, peaceful pre-Roman and post-Solomon Syria) would look upon your quandry with delight and happiness. You should seek out these experiences!

That was fun to read.

You are one of those 'motivated by reason' types. I can see you saw the methods and techniques of the pols to appeal to the 'motivated by emotions', and the 'motivated by reward' types. Politics is neat, is it not?
