Google is not my friend.
My daughter is returning today from Jamaica. Normally, this would be cause for celebration but she is returning with a sudden partial loss of vision in one eye as the result of some strange inexplicable (to us) condition which developed literally overnight. In these situations; google is not a Mother’s Best Friend.
As a result this blog is going dark and the most I will be reading is my Tehillim until this situation is resolved.

Almost a week has passed – I hope things are OK.
Thank you for your good wishes BB and SL. I am living in the in-between where no good options exist. While many Canadians are busy slagging our healthcare, I have found it to be outstanding in my daughter’s case and am grateful to live in a place where this exists. She has a top neuro-team who are working very hard on her behalf but, and isn’t there always a but – to live in a world where no buts were needed, so for now, I remain very much disengaged with the wider world as I struggle to just get through another day.
